NEdit on the Internet
There are several places on the internet where NEdit and the project around
it are mentioned. We've listed a few for your reading pleasure. We'll gladly
mention any new links you send us.
- Slashdot
- In October 2000, project leader Mark Edel was interviewed in the famous
Slashdot style about what it takes to run an Open Source software project.
Roblimo's opinion:
If you ever expect to lead an Open Source project (or a closed
source one, for that matter), you need to read this from start to finish,
possibly even print out a copy and read it over and over. Great stuff!

- Linux Magazine (USA)
- In June 2000, Linux Magazine (the one from the USA) printed a review of
NEdit 5.1.1. Quoting Lou Grinzo, the author:
In a world of Emacs, vi, and their progeny, not to mention
countless other unaffiliated editors, why bother talking about yet another text
editor for Linux? That's a fair question, and in the case of NEdit, it has the
best possible answer: because the program itself is so good.

- LinuxFocus.org
- Georges Tarbouriech wrote an introduction to NEdit for the March 2000
edition of LinuxFocus.org:
NEdit is a very user-friendly graphical editor, ideal for
development. It is available for for more than 20 Unix systems. This article is
meant as an introduction to NEdit. It is not a in depth review of the editor
and it's features.
